OMG not a light holiday romance but still good
*4.5 stars* Another not necessarily a Christmas romance, but tear-jerker story. The beginning was soo good, but I wasn’t as invested in the romance by the end since the meetings throughout the year didn’t really include Max and Josie interacting.
Thanks a lot Emily!
Not a book to read when you’re already sad at Christmas. But sweet nonetheless.
Cried for the last 15 minutes of the book

While this book is sad-I was prepared by reading the back cover. I was wishing for their happy ending-knowing it wouldn’t come. I think that this shows great writing from the author…even though I knew it would be sad, the way that Emily Stone wrote Max and Josie’s story made me think I could wield a different ending for them.
….the entire time I was reading this, it was a 5 star read. The characters were so well written, so well rounded. I loved Josie and Max’s relationship and the ups and downs we all went through in this book. The writing alone was amazing. But gorl……that ending. That ending ruined the whole thing for me. I wanted to rate this lower because of it but the rest of the book was so well written that I can’t.
