It doesn't take long to get into the action, and once you're in, it keeps pulling you in. I loved the twists and the characters. I see the world in my mind, which is the marks of excellent writing. I'm not used to reading novelettes, so perhaps it's a bit unfair, but I would have liked the last half or so to be expanded and drawn out. The nuance is there (again, excellent writing) but I want to savor it.
Okay, maybe I'm just sad that it ended and I want more.
The ending is good, satisfying, and deliciously twisted.
