A satisfying conclusion to a series.

I really love this series and I think Olympus Bound was a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy, with plenty of story covered over the course of the book.

I'm still not sure about how I feel in regards to Selene and Theo's relationship. A lot of Selene's personality traits embody her nature as a goddess and I don't want these to change for any reason, but I still think that they become potentially problematic in the context of her relationship. I'm glad that some of these issues were discussed on page and called out, but at the same time I'm not sure how convincing the solution was.

This was a thrilling conclusion for the trilogy. Brodsky continued to surprise me with her twists and turns. I especially like the emotions that played out for Theo and Selene. There are reviews who were angry at how Theo was during this book, but I found it quite believable given what he dealt with in the prior book. Reconciliation took time, which made sense due to the character natures. Other gods came into the picture in this book, which I loved seeing. Everything Selene goes through in this book is an amazing trial. Her personal discoveries and losses caused great growth for her, though she did maintain her usual manner. It was the little things that gave her away in the end (especially with Gabriella) As the conclusion built up, I found myself gripped with excitement, needing to know what was going to happen. I felt completely satisfied with how the story line concluded.

Altogether, I think this is a wonderfully written trilogy and anyone who enjoys Greek myth should pick these books up. I eagerly await Jordanna Brodsky's next book and the new adventures she takes us on.

I enjoyed the first book of these a lot more than I have enjoyed this one. Even the second, though it got a bit slow at points, moved along at a fast enough clip that I didn't feel the need to keep checking how much was left. This third book: it dragged. Then it kept dragging.

I think in the end one of the things I liked least about the series has been the characters, and so when they weren't actively unraveling a mystery (and this one was the least actively-unraveling-a-plot of the bunch, far and away) we were treated to way too much in the way of EMOTIONAL TURMOIL AND DRAMAZ.

I also am of the opinion that the Main Characters Who Are SO IN LOVE are not actually in love, they're just SUPER attracted to one another and their relationship is not so much *fated* as *doomed*. This colors a lot of my ability to want to hear their inner angst.

I really didn't like this book as much as I liked the two previous ones. This one felt a little more rushed/sloppy than the other two. It also wasn't as interesting. I wish that she had not continued the last plot into this book -- the first books plot was far more intriguing than the past two, to be honest.

So while I figured that this one was going to be a continuation, I wish that it had been done better. I still mostly liked all the characters, even though I didn't particularly like the plot in this one.

Brodsky's writing was still very good, and it was wonderfully written -- and that is why it got a solid two stars.

It wasn't very memorable in the end, so I don't have a lot to say about it, positive or negative aside from the two things listed above. It was simply decent.

It feels like this series was written for me. Love of Greek mythology, check. Favorite goddess Artemis is the main character, check. My two favorite cities New York and Rome as the main locations, check. I need to be friends with this author.

Olympus Bound: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2
Series over all: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2

I love love LOVE Greek mythology so seeing all those Olympians come to life in a well thought out adult fiction novel was great! And yes I am putting it under adult because of a few parts but it is by no means a smutty book.

This book takes you on a wild ride through New York, Rome, Greece and history. It was great fun when they visited places in Rome that I had been to and I could picture it. They even reference a funny picture I took in Pompeii that I had no clue till this book was a minor god.

The amount of research that must have gone into writing these books is mind blowing. I listen to the authors note and the level of detail and time it took to achieve the historical accuracy is very impressive.

The writing of the book was good and it kept a fast pace through out the whole book. I did not love the final battle or stand off if you will but it worked for the story.

I liked this book a lot but it was just missing that little something extra to make it a 5 star book. But great series even if you know nothing about history.
