A classic Agatha Christie and a very classic Poirot. Such an easy, relaxing and intriguing read.

What’s funny is that my husband and I have been working our way through the entirety of Poirot (the TV series with David Suchet), and this story was definitely in one of the episodes, how somehow I’ve completely forgotten what happens. I just had vague inklings/thoughts about certain aspects or likely misdirections but I didn’t remember any specifics about who did it 😅.

Glad to see that I’ll continue to enjoy Poirot (both the books and the TV series) in years to come thanks to my shitty memory.

This one led us down a winding path with lots of confusion and red herrings, but it made the reveal at the end all that much better. I always like to be surprised by the reveal- one of my favorite things about reading Agatha Christie. This book also has lots of fun Poirot moments!
