If I could erase an entire book from my brain just so I could read it again it would be this one.

The story revolves around Isaiah and Kennedy, a baseball player and an athletic trainer. They accidentally get married in vegas and are subsequently forced to remain that way because of rules at their job.

Isaiah has always had a crush on Kennedy, but since she was previously engaged, he was respectful and only ever talked about his feelings in a playful way. He’s really funny and sweet while Kennedy needs more of push to let people in.

The relationship between them initially feels like insta love (at least from him), but they’ve had a secret friendship situation since the very beginning when he witnessed a terrible work situation for her and she made him promise to keep it to himself. Now that they’re spending a lot more time together, they’re actually getting to know each other more intentionally.

The chemistry between them is insane. They’re just so gentle with each other, it’s a joy to read. There’s good anxiety representation for him. And she is uncomfortable with physical touch and has some other hangups she has to work through. Most of it is about their relationship, but there’s also some  career/industry aspects that are explored and resolved as Kennedy deals with real setbacks.

By now, all the characters from the previous books are kind of a big friend group and I love to see them pop in when it works. Another great read, love the series. Tomforde doesn’t miss!

This was really cute. I loved the main characters and their connection. I think there could’ve been a little bit more action but I was into the entire time regardless.

ALSO am I the only one that wants Reese and Monty together?? Can’t that be a book.

GRRRRR ISAIAH, PLEASE MARRY ME
