Reading this book was like listening to a big sis advice!
Thank you Lily for sharing your story with us!

Incredibly transparent and inspiring, Lily embraces her flaws (gifts), reveals her "mistakes" (lessons) and gives her readers a no-holds-barred look into her life and choices. She acknowledges her past and present in a refreshing and honest way, succeeding in what she's aspired to do since she was a little girl: giving young people a voice without boundaries. In doing this, she's unknowingly given people of *all* ages a voice.

Lily has done something so important here- unmasking the photoshopped life of celebrity and getting down to the core of the deep matters that everyone deals with, whether they're on the cover of a magazine or not. To recognize the humanity in all of us, we must accept and embrace our decisions and lifestyles- good or bad- to make way for what our future has in mind. She encourages readers to listen to their heart, body, and soul, and to hold their confidants closely.

I've been a fan of Lily's for years, and it was an experience to read her voice and actually be dumbstruck by how much we have in common. While no one's experiences are *exactly* the same, we can find comfort and power in the admission of those similar to ours, creating a movement of speaking up and growing stronger while feeling safe doing so. An extremely easy read in a relatable tone and filled with adorable pictures, this book has quickly become one of my favorites and will most certainly be a tool in my own self-reflection and acceptance.

Bravo, Lily!

Pretty cheesy, not terribly well written, but over all a fairly sweet light book (even considering some darker topics it does include... tw for abuse and eating disorders)

one of the first inspiring book I've ever read.

This book is just pure therapy to me like I relate to her past experiences so much and it’s really nice to have these thoughts written down and there to reread it once in a while

Nice quick read. Good essays about major facets of her life.

I don’t usually read books written by artists/influencers so I can’t really compare it to others.

But I must say this one is good. It’s nothing outstanding... but not bad either. This book will tell you more about Lily Collins. About her childhood and her teenage years and it will give you many advices. It’s a light easy read.

Would recommend it if you are one of her fans.

There is not enough words to try and comprehend describing this book. All I suggest is you go pick up and copy because it will resonate so deeply with you; in one way or another.
Lily is a trooper and has gone on the rollercoaster called life, and it has not stopped for her yet. There will be something in her story you will relate with, or if like me, more than one.
This book has become a safe place for me to go back to when I need it, or when I need words of wise and kind imparted words.
It is an emotional story and journey to go on whilst sharing in Lily's story, but to see how far she's come, and how her story's messages of good and kindness can be taken on board with all readers.

For her debut novel, Lily has raised the bar in my opinion. Thank you.
