Ms. Marvel has so many cameos and team-ups with other superheroes. It's great. This volume sees her teaming up with Carol Danvers--Captain Marvel--and she gets some advice and help that she really needed. It hasn't been easy for 16-year-old Kamala to balance home, school, and superheroing but there were some great little character development moments within this volume, and they are so quick and easy to read that I just fly through them.

If you're accustomed to flipping through Marvel pages quickly, I'm just gonna recommend slowing down for this volume. Every page has so many hilarious and weird background details and jokes. Also, now I've been craving hot dogs ever since starting this fantastic volume.

This story arch is how you do small stories about big events. Kamala Khan gave me the feels on more than one occasion in this and I'm not afraid to admit it.

Note: Read equivalent issues via Marvel Unlimited.

With the world about to end, it's a nice development for Kamala and her friends as they learn to be true about themselves which is always a nice coming-of-age arc.

"You can almost hear the collective sigh. Like we needed to be given permission to laugh again. Like, even if things are profoundly not okay...at least we're not okay together. And even if we don't always get along...we're still connected by something you can't break. Something there isn't even a word for. Something...beautiful."

Kamala Khan is at it again, only this time, she has to save not only her family, but her city as well.

The fourth installment of the Ms. Marvel series is good, but not as jam packed as some of the other issues. We do get a fun cameo from Captain Marvel and the city (or world) is about to end, so there is that. But overall, I thought this issue was quick and a little lackluster. Not that it will stop me from reading more of them, it just didn't head in the direction I thought it was going to. Also, there is a nice little twist at the end. A little romance perhaps?
