I had trouble getting traction but was able to complete on the second attempt. I struggled to stay focused and engaged a bit but the story had a lot of potential. Not sure if my issue was the narrator, the book or a little of both.

listened to this on audio book and WOW. the audio book was phenomenal and felt like i was listening to a movie! super dark and layered thriller but it felt so realistic which made it so much more thrilling. my first lisa jewell novel but not my last!!
Gripping after getting through a slower opening. The ending surprises and twists made it up for it though!
