Alix Summer is at the bar with family and friends celebrating her 45th birthday. When she goes to use the restroom, she meets a woman, who mentions it's her birthday too, also her 45th birthday. They chat a little bit to discover not only were they born on the same day, but in the same hospital. The woman, Josie Fair, says "I'm your birthday twin". Josie does some investigating and finds out that Alix is a well-know podcaster, known for interviewing woman who have made it and helping to tell their story. They bump into each other again, and Josie suggests that she do a podcast on her. She hasn't made it yet, but big changes are coming; and it would be exciting to document her rise. Alix agrees to try this podcast, but gets pulled into Josie's story. Josie's story is fascinating and a bit horrifying. They spend a lot of time together on the podcast, and after an incident, Josie is gone. This book was a lot of fun. The chapters are mostly short and there are lots of twists and turns. One of my favorite Lisa Jewell books.
