This is an extremely charming cookbook with a lot of charm and really beautiful photography. We've tried several of the recipes already and they're very good - definitely worthwhile picking up if you're into D&D.

Nice pictures. Sometimes you get cookbooks from the library just to look at them, not to make anything out of them.

Except for the fact that I don’t go for mushrooms, many fun recipes and ideas for themed dinners (someday when I have people for dinner again)!

I have been cooking out of these recipes for about a year now and I can confirm, they are very good. My favourites are probably the Hand Pie, Potato Leek Soup, and Mindflayer Cocktail recipe.

I love this so very much. Maybe it's the nostalgia, the love of the genre, the recipes themselves. Either way, I'm cooking my way through and highly recommend others do the same, especially if you like D&D, and even if you only like cookbooks based on foods found in fantasies.

wayyy more informative than I thought it was going to be. not an issue in itself! it was just too dry for me to stick with.
