‘There is nothing more dangerous than a woman who owns who she is and apologizes to no one.’
Mixed feelings about this one. I understand people’s woes about Emilia being like a different character in this book in comparison to KotW, but she’s in hell, she’s unfiltered, keeping personified sins as company and she’s been through a lot. So I kinda feel a bit defensive of her, I’m here for feminine rage. Do I feel it went from 0-100? Yes. I get that maybe Kerri wanted to go in a different direction, more NA than YA but maybe a little build up on that would’ve been better. I did guess the secret but the plot? Nooooooo bloody clue whats going on there pal.
But I finally what period this series is set in, HUZZAH.

I'm reading a lot of reviews about how Chapter 17 gave them the "ick" and I *personally* didn't think it was the worst thing I've ever read. Yes, it was not completely necessary but I understood where the author was going with the scene. I understand how it can be triggering but it didn't hurt the story for me *personally*Also - saw Wrath being the Devil himself and had a feeling Vittoria was still alive. I mean she literally told Emilia in the first book she was doing shady shit, but I'm curious how it'll all play out in this final book.
