Ferrentino writes compelling characters and naturalistic dialogue, but this is basically an old story (the shell-shocked/damaged soldier readjusting to civilian life) that's been given a new coat of paint. The technical aspects necessary for full realization of the virtual reality scenes also puts it outside the financial capabilities of most theatre companies.
