I give it a strong 3,5. The story is interesting as well as special because you are put in an environment for which you are unaccustomed. (Bee hive)

I have tried to think of a review for a few days but I just cannot find any words for this amazing and beautiful book. I will try again though, this book is about a bee society and we see it from the eyes of Flora 717, a bee who is normally the lowest of the lowest but due to her unusual talents she gets to see all aspects of the hive and becomes a very important and crucial part of the hive. There were many beautiful, sad, OMG moments and the ending had me in tears.

This is a very unique dystopian book that takes place within a beehive. The story was well written but ultimately, I was not the right audience for it...

A solid 4⭐
One of the more interesting prose I've read, probably ever. Written like a thriller sci-fi about a cult, mixed with a nature documentary about a hive of bees.
The characters weren't as compelling as the story line was, I wasn't too invested in them as individuals.
I found this book a lot of fun, a quick, intriguing novel, filled with drama. I think it would make a pretty epic movie too.

Over complicated and confusing
Not sure if literally in a hive or if a hive like society
Brainwashing was very overt and I wasn't enjoying it
