Bless Jamie's parents. That's it. That's all I want to say. <3
Best Parts:
[1] Jamie's family. Seriously.
[2] Holly. I DONT GIVE A SHIT, THE GIRL DESERVES THE WORLD.
Worst Parts:
[1] Wes' parents. Like? At least pretend to care, no?
[2] That one homophobic father. I've reserved a spot for him in hell. I'm waiting.
Favourite Quotes:
[1] My heart is back in Lake Placid. Or maybe it's in California. It goes wherever Jamie Canning goes.
[2] I tell him yes. Not because it's the right thing to do, but because I'm powerless to say no.
[3] "Don't go," I'd argued, "I just got you back."
[4] "But here's the thing about family, Ryan... blood doesn't mean shit."

That was cute
Jaime and Wes were so good together. This was a cute story that tugged at my heartstrings a bit. Watching Wesley struggle with what he was feeling, and then watching Jaime do the same, made me tear up a bit. Compared to what I usually read, this was extremely low on the angst spectrum. Loved this.

3.5/5 Stars. A simple and sweet gay hockey romance. I didn't realize the spice level going in, but it was a fun read nonetheless. I will say, some of the story beats do fall a bit flat, and the forever problematic concern that a bisexual person is going to leave their partner for someone of the opposite sex does rear it's ugly head. Overall, an easy quick and relatively enjoyable read.

I loved Jamie and Wes. This book was laugh out loud funny and never did I get bored. My heart hurt at times and then others it swooned.
