I LOVED this version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I love that the author made most of the characters a POC. And I like that this has a HFN ending.

I had so much fun with this! it's such a treat to learn so much about how the intersectionality of being black and queer would have been in Victorian London. An emotional romance that stays true to it's source <3

I really, really enjoyed this. I’ve seen people complain about the lack of substance early in the book to build up their relationship but you need to understand that this is not a romance as much as it is a mystery/thriller. I think the pacing was very well done in that regard and I had no trouble filling in the gaps of their relationship myself.
