Mucho hype en torno a este libro, que no tiene muchas cosas que decir. Aun así, estoy planteándome leer "La Elite" sólo para confirmar si vuelve a quedar en nada.

A short, quick read. A Cinderella story with a cross between The Bachelor and The Hunger Games/Divergent. Some aspects are a little too similar - songbird necklace, red dress and and interviews with a Caesar like character. Intrigued enough to read the next one, but 5 total books may drag it out too much!

A reread for me. So crazy the difference in vibes I picked up reading this when I was like 14 versus now. It reads a bit childish to me now but that makes sense!

Muy buena historia y Maxon es tan bonito!!!

A satisfying quick read. I will most likely read the rest of the series.

DID NOT FINISH

Well, at least I've tried. I've even finished 1/3 of a book and I'm sooo proud of myself, because half of the time I thought my eyes are going to fall out of my eyeballs when I was reading this. That being said, it still wasn't worth my effort or time to finish this. I have more books to read and this one is just on the whole other level of horrible. Goodbye book, we will not see each other again.

Fun, YA, fluffy Bachelor-esque book. I suppose it is sort of post-Apoc, but really, it is The Bachelor for teens ;-)

Unfortunately you can tell this book was written when Dystopian books were popular. While I might have enjoyed it more as a teen, it was alright as an adult. I cannot stand the made up places, the weird caste system, among so many other things. Too many things in this book did not make sense and felt like I was reading about a teenager. Again totally understand it’s for “young adults” but it just wasn’t for me.

I read this book in a day. So it is gripping and a fast read. But when I finished I wasn't in love with the characters... light and entertaining..
