The story is very interesting I like this dual point of view of the humans and cats. It's is a very inspirational book. And a very nice quick read. And I love that you can identify a lot with human problems. That normally as humans we can see.

This book is a collection of short stories following four women who live in the same neighbourhood. The women are all finding a way of dealing with their own problems with the help of their cats. One of my favorite things about this book is the fact it features both the owners and cats points of view. It adds extreme depth to the book, and different ways of looking at the story. The contrast between how the cats were written compared to the humans was extremely well done. The stories are also all interwoven, and the entire story ties together perfectly. It is beautifully written, with incredible world-building and relatable characters. All of the humans were enjoyable to read about, and the cats were heart-warming. I would highly reccomend this book to anyone looking for a light, comforting read.
I have very few criticisms which prevented this book from being a 5*, and they are all mostly a personal preference. I didn't enjoy Chobi calling his owner "girlfriend", nor Jon's character.

Beautiful and austere, this book of four interconnected stories forms a whole novella. It’s about loneliness and grief, and about the joy we receive when we love a cat who loves us back. Each section is told in alternating voices, one human and one cat, and it’s a warm storytelling device, showing the cats’ lives to be as vibrant as those of the humans. Hard to read if you’re feeling melancholy but overall full of love and compassion.
