This is fascinating reading, but a good third of it is unnecessary excess detail on marginal figures in the story. A book would have to work pretty hard to bore me with this particular story, and I was definitely drifting. Three stars for obvious intense research and the story itself.

Compelling story. Informative and detailed. I have so many questions re Anne Perry aka Juliet Hulme...how do you move on from committing a murder...even with the atonement of Jesus Christ?

The story of these girls will always haunt me in a very specific, heartbroken way, I think. This is well written and very detailed.
