This was a great comprehensive introduction to boundaries with a lot of different workbook pages to work through. I admit that the fact that a lot of the examples skewed a bit younger sort of colored my experience (especially after a year of COVID where boundaries while partying with friends isn't exactly a concern).

A great book that really lays out what boundaries are and how to set them in an apprroacheable way. Michelle's personal stories help to bring life to the lessons she teaches. There is a lot of poignant information that puts into perspective why "being selfish" is a joy. Most of the book was paced very well, but towards the end I felt it was a bit slower (for my taste). Sometimes it was simplistic for me BUT I have done a lot of therapy and these are all concepts I was already familiar with. A good starting point for people. Overall, excellent read, and super helpful for those who struggle to set boundaries!

I found this book incredibly helpful. It has called me out on my behaviour - I am very much a pushover - and provided me with the tools I need to change that.

An interesting take on the boundary setting genre. There are useful templates and ways of thinking about boundaries and friendships. I think I wasn’t ready to hear some of it so may need to reread in the future.

This book is good for people who have yet to do therapy. It's all very basic information that I've already learned but I can see how it'd be helpful for other people. I also just didn't care for the writing style.

I can see this book being one of those that I go back to again and again and rereading snippets based on what I need at the time.
