I won't lie Gabe took some getting used to. I loved Temperance but until Gabe fell for her he was iffy. He was far too pleased with himself and his looks and you could tell he was a trust fund kid growing up. He gets better after Temperance blows him off and Rosie talks to him. After that things get better and I enjoy their interactions.

Another great story featuring the Blackstone Rangers. Gabriel is the perfect man, he is charming, rich and handsome, but when he finds his mate his charm desserts him and his protective instincts take over. Temperence has had a hard life and she has the scars to prove it, both inside and out. She has trouble trusting Gabriel but once she lets her guard down these two can overcome anything. This story is sweet, it is sad and it has lots of nasty people but in the end you can't seperate mates. This story will keep you enthralled till the very end.

Sexy and entertaining, I was completely engrossed in this story from the very first page. I wasn’t sure if Temperance would be able to overcome her insecurities, if Gabriel could get past his past, or if the Russel pride would be a problem or not, so the story flew by as I awaited answers.

Blackstone Ranger Charmer by Alicia Montgomery is a paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Tara Langella.
This is the second book in the Blackstone Rangers series and can be read as stand-alone. However, I would recommend reading in order since the books are inter-connected.
This is the second book of Alicia’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. She did a great job pulling me into the story. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Gabriel and Temperance.
I can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series Blackstone Ranger Hero so I can get Daniel and Sarah’s story.
Tara did a great job on the narration. I liked that she used different/tones voices for each character. It really brought the story to life. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like paranormal romances or romantic suspense.

This was fine.
Romance felt a little quick. Also its meant to be a fantasy shifter romance and it didn't feel very shifter romance. Theres very little shifter stuff, or at least not enough.
