This didn't exactly live up to the hype but it was still enjoyable. I liked the main character Naomi and I understood where she was coming from. I get it that many people may see her as a spineless woman but I get it all too well when you need to overcompensate for your sister's misdoings. It is also very similar to another book I had read (well I couldn't complete it because it was too annoying). This wasn't something that made me feel anything new. But to give it some credit, it didn't make me piss off so hard that I wanted to fling my phone across the room. An average read at best. I connected with Naomi and Waylay (also wtf is up with this name). Their relationship was the sweetest thing to read. I liked Knox most of the time but his daddy issues are just not for me to sympathize with. In my opinion, he led Naomi on. Also, why was it categorized as Second Chance Romance? I am confused they had a fallout but not long enough for it to consider a second chance. Also, I was promised groveling but it wasn't long enough for me to consider groveling.

Kinda wanted the book to be over with the whole time. One of the main characters is so grumpy and everything is predictable. It had potential but I wouldn’t recommend.
