I prefer to read the negative reviews after I finish a book so it doesn't taint my experience. Reviews on this one really drive home the fact that reading is subjective and we all have different opinions.

idk why I left this on my KU TBR so long but I am so glad that a book club I'm in suggested this one!

I loved the romcom element. I was constantly giggling and laughing. The banter and tension was hilarious. I loved how Lucy fed us some breadcrumbs in the beginning before explaining the dynamic of various characters. I loved the grumpy/sunshine trope and all the other tropes sprinkled in throughout. Call me simple but I'm easily entertained picking them out.

This was a good time! Whoever told me I could recommend this to my MIL- I will not be doing that 🤣 The spice level was a little too hot for me to be comfortable with her reading this lolllll

4 ⭐ because Knox's hero swooping got a bit annoying and the plot wrapping up in the end left me slightly unsatisfied.

Obsessed with small town romance at the moment!! This was a super cute read, but I'm only giving it 4 stars because the sudden whiplash about 350 pages in pissed me OFF!!!
