I'd be lying if I said this book gripped me from the start but OH MY GOD did I fall in love with it as I kept reading.
The love story, the way Tessie talks about Bear, the way Solomon talks about Bear and how dedicated he is to both the baby and Tessie - swoon!
My heart (and my ovaries) were fluttering nonstop!
This was my first Ava Hunter book and I'm absolutely dying to get into the rest of hers.

My bestie knew I love a good surprise pregnancy so it was no surprise she recommended this one for me to read! And gosh I loved it! I’ve now added Ava to my auto read authors list! Solomon and Tessie are just so special and have this amazing story to bring it together.
Tessie Truelove needs to “get loose, get lit and get laid” according to her cousin and when she does just that, having a one night stand with a gruff mountain of a man, Solomon Wilder, a little surprise happens. She falls pregnant. They now need to figure out their lives with this news and what better way than locking them away together in Mexico to work it all out! Only it’s not just baby arrangements that end up being worked out.

i wanted to love it so bad it had a lot of potential and it got WASTED. there wasn't any tension between the mc’s and their whole relationship felt weird. also why the hell would you give up everything to move in with your baby daddy you don't know much about?

In my opinion a grown woman should not be called Tessie. I cringe every time I heard it 😬 and it was a lot.
