Ahw, just finished the second book in this cute yuri-series. (We want more! We want more!)

The sisters just become closer and closer (as we find out more about them bit by bit) and I can't help but wish they were real so I could hug them and tell them that everything will be okay...
The way the story is progressing really pulls you in and made me care for these girls a LOT more than I originally anticipated... Well done Saburo Uta!

Uwah, I can't wait to get my hands on volume 3... I'm completely in love with the art style as well, it just makes me smile :D

So, a-hunting for the third volume I go!

Over and Out!

Sorry, but even with a 3 stars, I am dropping this series from this volume on.

Mei is just so horrendous. And yes, I know her daddy isn’t there (dick), he left years ago (again I am wondering how Yuzu’s mom met him), but that is no need to be a manipulative bitch who only wants to kiss/assault Yuzu whenever she is feeling down/sad/angry or whatever. This is not how you treat people girl. This is not at all how you treat people. You know about Yuzu’s feelings and you just toy with them like they are nothing. Either accept Yuzu, accept that you want her because you love her, or just don’t do it at all. Now you are only hurting someone close to you and that is a big no no.

And not only that but Mei’s moods just got annoying. Seriously, again, I know she is not really the best emotionally with stuff that happened, but that is still no excuse to be so hot and cold in her life. Nice one time, the next distant, the next a total bitch. Bleh, what a crap character.

Yuzu on the other hand is the only reason why I wanted to try it again, why I wanted to check out the second volume. Because Yuzu? Yuzu is amazing. She is strong, determined, willing to do anything and everything for her friends and family. But you can also see she doesn’t have it all too easy, but unlike Mei, doesn’t go around having mood swings as big as the Mount Everest.
I felt so sorry for her. Her love for Mei is still all new, she is so confused, and then you have the girl you love treat you like this.

Momokino was slightly better in this one, though I thought the thing she did when Yuzu and Mei were on a trip was just plain creepy and stalkerish. Go away. Shoo.

The art is still gorgeous, and is also the reason why the manga scores so high for me.

But would I recommend this one? No. Nope. Never. There are enough other Yuri/Shoujo-ai manga out there that are way better and deserve more love than this one.

This was much better than the first volume. A little slow at the beginning, and Momokino was really freaking annoying, but after her subplot the story picked up. The ending was very satisfying and really sweet. Not gonna lie, I was about to drop the series after the first volume, but I’m glad I stuck around. Can’t say whether I’ll like the rest of the series like I used to, but I’m gonna keep going.

The drama in this series! Why am I surprised by it? Why did I think this wouldn’t be so dramatic and characterized? What did I expect, really?

There’s more family drama for Mei and Yuzu. Mei is hurt from what her father did years ago, and with her grandfather being so harsh, she doesn’t know what to do with herself. And when her father shows up, it’s hard on her, but it finally brings some closure.

Then there’s Mei’s best friend, who’s jealous of Yuzu stealing her attention and starts putting the moves on Mei. Given that Mei doesn’t have any attraction to Momo, she doesn’t take any of it seriously. There’s mainly just a rivalry between Yuzu and Momo, but the friendship between Momo and Mei is actually really sweet.

Mei hasn’t been given Yuzu’s attraction to her any real attention or respect, either, until the end of this volume when she starts feeling it in return. I like that Yuzu believed herself to be straight up until Mei, but once she starts feeling attracted, she gives in to it and she doesn’t hold back. Mei is now starting to really understand it, though, and return those feelings.

The ending introduces a new character that I’m sure will bring a new batch of drama.

I’m rather enjoying this series. I like the genuine attraction between the main characters, and the way they’re growing to figure it out.

I like this one better than the first one.
I do know... I am not a fan of the curly hair girl. Forget her name. The vice president.
I think this book was fun but more emotional. Mei was going through so many emotions about her father. I am not a fan of Mei's dad.
All in all I enjoy this series. It is something to get my mind of the seriousness of life!
