It was cute. I never read it as a child, and I'm not sure I would have liked it anyway -- or maybe that is adult me talking. Mostly I checked this out because Stephen Fry is the narrator of the audiobook, and he does excellent voices.

So nice and lovely to have as a audiobook! I just loved how the voice acted and muffled through the book. I just couldn't quit skilling through the book story.

Read aloud with Micah. Sweet collection of stories about the bear called Paddington. Always getting into trouble, that one.

I love it, I have heard of Paddington before (obviously), but never read or watched it myself.

Oh, Paddintgon. What would my childhood be without you? Rereading these stories as an adult, I start to wonder, did my brother and I love this bear so much because we saw ourselves in him? Maybe we two kids from Kuwait who had to move around so much (mostly to the UK and USA) identified with the little bear who immigrated from Darkest Peru and saw everything in London as strange and new. Anyway, Paddington is sweet and kind, and I'm sure everyone has their own stories on why they love him.
