Sadly, it's a shortish book. One of those poof you are right in there in this time of these people's lives... it's a traumatic time, a sad and grief stricken finality, peppered with the strangest of blurts and thoughts from the main character. All of this and the group of people who are banded together to prepare for this loss are just people you want to be with, their quirks and smartness and freeing spirits, the never failing support they give while being their most human selves dealing with this. Aside from one shall we say coping mechanism from the main character that seems left field and a bit extreme (maybe I'm prudish) otherwise next time I am on my way to the grief train I would hope they were all on board with me.
