This was a 3.5 stars for me. Touching story and I enjoyed the characters enough, just sometimes I found the protagonist’s inner monologue a bit annoying.
YIKES
I wanted to love this book!! But it was not for me - I figured there would be a little more focus on the one that was actually dying and less on the self centeredness of the friend :( Yeah, this was a DNF for me :)

This was a STUNNING book. It’s not very plot heavy - the concept is just “a woman grieves while her best friend lays dying in hospice” - but it is gorgeously written and full of meaningful moments. I really, really enjoyed this.
