I loved this book! It was fast-paced and I loved the introduction of vampires. I can't wait for the next book!!
WOW! WOW! And WOW! This is, by far, my favorite book in this series. I loved the others ones, but this one just kind of flips everything around, turns it upside down, and throws all kinds of new stuff into the crowd! I loved everything about it! All of the old stuff and all of the new stuff was just phenomenal! I had no idea what to expect from Pete. I liked him from the get go, but I wasn't sure where the human mate thing was going to go. I was so happy he was getting a book, and now I love him even more after reading his story. Marianna was great too! This was such a great addition to the series, and a great introduction to some of the others coming up! How in the world is a person supposed to survive the anticipation for three intertwined books from three different series by the same author?!? :)
Great book! My favorite of the Amoveo yet. I didn't think another couple would top Dante and Kerry (they were my favorite), but I was wrong. The chemistry between Pete and Marianna was awesome!! How long until the next one?!
3.5*s Just a quick and dirty review on this one.
There wasn't anything terribly wrong with this book. It just didn't grab me. I didn't find the characters particularly compelling. I did enjoy the revelation of Pete's father, however.
In spite of the fact that they were stuck in the woods for a month, the plot moved along quickly enough. There was action and mortal danger and suspense. But somehow the book was still kind of vanilla.
If you're an Amoveo fan, you won't want to miss it because of the ongoing story arc. If you're new to the series, start with [b:Unleashed|10880685|Unleashed (The Amoveo Legend #1)|Sara Humphreys|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348841461s/10880685.jpg|15796225].

The fourth book in the Amoveo series. This time it focuses on Marianna, Dante's sister, who is a member of the bear clan. After the disastrous last council meeting where the purists broke away, Marianna is in New York City partying and not taking any sides of this ridiculous war, at least in her opinion. Dante, who is worried about her safety, has Pete, a retired cop, watch out for her and act as her bodyguard. Marianna is sick of being treated like a kid and resents Pete. After a confrontational meeting between Marianna and a purist, Pete takes her safety into his own hands and uses a binding spell powder on her. Marianna is furious but Pete knows that she is safe as she is bound in her human form for a month so no one in the Purist camp can find her. Pete takes Marianna to his escape in the deep woods where their relationship develops as Marianna knows that Pete is her mate.
Fabulous read and kept me on the edge of my seat. Fantastic!

Yes, this book tops all the others when it comes to most nail-biting, gut-wrenching, and heart failing moments ever. Sara even gives you the hottest scenes between two characters who will steal your heart away and have you either running to the shower to cool down or grabbing some cold water to drink. (I still cannot get over that snowmobile scene)
Seriously, if you have not read this series yet, you need to. I highly recommend it to paranormal romance readers out there and fans of shapeshifters. Sara takes you into a world of shifters who will capture your heart, and all you want is for them to have a happily ever after without the Purists trying to ruin it for them.
I look forward to the next installment and now the new series coming out from Sara at the end of this summer.
This book will give you not only the shapeshifters, but also demons, hellhounds, and vampires. I bet that got your attention now. =)
I received a complimentary copy of the book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Only the pure should survive. Through the death of her father, the dissolution of the governing council and the apparent war between the different factions of the Amoveo, Marianna has kept silent. Refusing to publicly choose a side in the between the factions, Marianne has become a target for purists willing to do anything to keep the bloodlines pure. Ordinary, average and very much human, Pete is the last person Marianne expected would be her mate. But you can’t always get what you want. Pete was assigned by her brother to protect her and that’s exactly what he will do, even if he has to protect her from her own stupidity.
Although I won’t pretend to understand how a supposed grown adult thinks that by pretending nothing is wrong, the world is all peaches and cream, I am glad when Marianna is shown the error of her ways. In danger and under attack she is essentially kidnapped and hidden away by Pete. Locked up and in close quarters they have nothing but time to explore the chemistry between them. When an enemy poses a danger to their newfound relationship, Pete discovers some truths about himself that he never expected.
In typical Sara Humphreys fashion, Undone is action packed and filled with characters you feel strongly about. Although this is book 4 in the Amoveo series, Humphreys provides plenty of background and description that even one not familiar with the series will be able to follow along and enjoy the story without being hung up on what happened in prior books.

I enjoyed this one quite a bit. I loved how the story took the twists and turn it did and I am wondering if it leads to a spin off series, (I'm trying not to go looking and find out so I don't ruin any surprises) the romance was sweet and more than steamy, Pete's got a bit of a naughty side. I am more than curious about the new characters and looking forward to seeing how everything plays out.
