Well color me shocked! It's no secret that I was not impressed with A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, so I truly didn't expect much from this book. And while I did have a lot of problems in the first 60% of this book, overall I really enjoyed it. I really didn't guess any of the twists! It was hard to put this book down even when I was so tired I thought I would pass out before I could put my phone down and turn my lights off.

If you're looking for an entertaining thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat consider picking up Five Survive.

Some spoiler thoughts:
Spoiler* Damn, Don and Joyce deserved so much better!
* I was kind of mad that Oliver died. Even though he royally sucks I kind of wanted him to live knowing his mom is a POS and everyone hates him lmao
* I'm a bit irritated that we didn't find out who else voted for Red to leave the RV
* Maybe I was reading too fast and missed this, but I don't feel like I can really root for Red and Arthur because he said the plan was to get the name from Red and then kill her, but he never said if he was going to try to stop the "killing her" part of the plan...so does that mean he would have just been fine if that was what happened? I admit I might have missed if it was addressed because I was reading SO FAST.
* I wanted Reyna to rip Oliver a new one, but she really didn't get much of a chance to. It's clear everyone thought he was a douche canoe, but I think he needed to get fucking roasted.
* I was a little mad that Red never figured out what the curtains reminded her of lololol

At the beginning I didn't like Red but she was more likable after some point. But overall I couldn't really relate to her, she was thinking same things over and over again and I might have gotten tired of that. Other characters were pretty flat.

I really love thrillers and might have been spoiled by reading an amazing thriller recently, but this just didn't feel really thrilling. It took so long before things started to feel thrilling and the most part of the book people were just babbling and doing almost nothing.

I got tired of repetitive writing, there were so many times told how someone was a natural leader for example.

The last part of the book was good and there were some nice twists. There were still some super unbelievable things happening that felt just ridiculous.
