Just as amazing as the 1st! I wish we could hear more about their lives and how growing up with a human and kai guardian influences the future queen!

I couldn’t put this book down! Grace Draven took me out a terrible reading slump and im forever grateful! One of my favorite authors now. Running to read the next book in the series.

This book could have benefitted greatly from being longer.
The writing is gorgeous and can put any high fantasy novel to shame. As well as the kind, gentle romance between our main characters. The main issue that this book is quite a lot of build-up without the actual enjoyment of a proper explanation of what is happening. Another 100 pages could have made the story paced better as well as given the satisfaction of defeating the "great evil". Everything happened too quickly and too calmly, which left a feeling that the writer was trying to just finish this book asap.

Very well done continuation, enjoyed the development in their relationship and characters - good action and suspense, so v sweet to see the changes in opinion on looks. Cozy but engaging
