I really enjoyed Uglies/Pretties/Specials when they came out and this is another, entirely different idea. I loved the idea of super powers that were odd and not incredibly useful. I liked how the characters wove together and the story was well crafted. I have the next book on reserve at my library. I can’t wait to see what the Zeroes do next.

The hook and concept intrigued me more than the storyline. I liked the kids and think a sequel might surpass this first book. 83

I liked it but it wasn't my favorite, might read the second one but not running out to get it.

Nothing spectacular, but not boring either. Was a fun, easy read and I enjoyed the plot/storyline.

I really enjoyed this book and hope that the rest of the series lives up to the debut.

This was a good book, and a very quick read. I was able to get it done in less than 6 hours. It was endearing, but I think it moved too quickly, so some of the details are not very memorable. A good start to a series, and I'm looking forward to the next book coming out later this year.

Not much of a story. The group-affected super powers are unique. I think these characters have the potential to go somewhere, but they fall flat in this story. The forced love triangle with Flicker, Bellweather, and Anonymous is super juvenile. I did like that these kids weren’t orphans or loners like mutants/superhumans usually are; they all had siblings and parents that seemed to care about them and be integral to their character.
