Books 1 and 2 in this series were my runaway favourites in 2023. Book 3 follows a younger pair of hockey players in the same universe: Roman and Damien, likeable and very different. I didn't know if I'd love them as much as Alex and Eli from the first two books. Turns out I very much did. Nitpicking, I would've liked to see more of the secondary characters like Kaner and Olly. But there's plenty of plot for the two leads.

I’m a sucker for a good hockey romance, especially queer hockey romance, so I was really excited about this one. About 30% through I was disappointed, though. I finished it out but it didn’t redeem itself from there. I wouldn’t even call this a hockey romance. The sport is hardly present. That was a huge let down
Aside from that, my biggest issue was the telling versus showing, especially in development. There’s barely any build up and honestly I didn’t like the two leads much at all. They never truly show growt

Also, negative 1000 points for that ending. I hated that choice

C'était tellement mims
Les romances mxm auront ma peau parce qu'il y a quelque chose d'exceptionnel dans la manière avec laquelle les hommes s'aiment. Envers et contre tout.
On est sur une full romance, le hockey est en giga second plan, il n'y a pas un plot particulier si ce n'est de suivre leur histoire d'amour. Et leur histoire personnelle. Et ils sont beaucoup trop mignons
Je voulais plus de leur scènes de leur amour
C'était trop beau <3
