I wish I knew how to properly describe my love for this book that isn't just incoherent screaming.
I LOVE these two. Like I love Alex and Eli, but God the relationship and chemistry between Damien and Rome is just... Chef's kiss. Literally my heart was racing half the time while I was reading this book, and I had to keep taking breaks because I couldn't get over how in love they are.
The prose of this novel was really dynamic and I need to go back and read the first two because it feels somehow different from the others? But that may be because Rome and Damien are more... Self-reflective? Self-centered? I'm unsure what word to use, but I loved how beautifully written it was. It fit, in a way, since Damien's character is a poet.
I really thought I wouldn't like it as much as the other two books, but it honestly might be my favorite. My fingers are crossed, hoping we'll get more stories about them.

Also reading about them being dads killed me. I love them, your honor

the relationships in massey’s books move WAY too fast. also please never make me read the word “yeet” in a published book ever again

God. This was such a good book. It was heartwarming and sweet and messy and filled with love. I honestly don’t know how I’m supposed to wait for the next book to come out. This series just keeps getting better with every book!

I loved this so much, because it felt with so many different issues in ways that I don’t see often in books. I loved that Rome and Damien got to learn and grow, both together and as individuals. I loved that they both got to be messy teenagers but also they had the maturity to think about their future together and what that would look like. Especially when that future included more than just them. Also? The side characters are top notch! I loved them and I would love to see them again in another book.

I just don’t have anymore words. This book was so fucking good and I want to read the whole series again as soon as possible. All Hail The Underdogs is getting a solid five stars. 😭❤️
