I miss a lot of the interaction with side characters that we see in the first two books, and while I enjoyed Damien and Rome they kinda read like a filtered version of Alex and Eli with different hobbies.

I have read one of my favourite books of 2023 before this one and had trouble deciding what book to read next. So I kinda cheated and chose one I knew I would love because I already did so when I read it as a fanfiction (more than once lol). And what can I say, I regret nothing. I loved it just as much now.

Honestly every single book in this series is absolute *chef’s kiss* perfection. I love it I love it I love it. And the fourth book we get soon is Matts book!? Sign me UP. I want to live in this series. I love every character. The amount of passages I highlighted in this book is alarming but amazing. Rome and Damien 🤌🏻🥹😍 I seriously debated on drawing this book out a couple of days so I could prolong the immense joy and love I felt reading it. I clearly failed. Man I’m so happy I found this series!!!

I LOVED THIS! If I could inject the serotonin E.L. Massey's books give me into my veins i would. She hasn't written a single thing that I haven't been obsessed with, and Rome and Damien were no different.
Whilst they have some animosity towards each other in the beginning, once they take the time to understand each other, it was *chefs kiss*. I also loved how shy Rome is, especially with how tough he pretended to be. The way they supported each other was enough to revive my cold, dead heart. They had the sweetest, purest kind of love. I never wanted it to be over
