Okay, this is my new favorite of the series. I’ll have to eat my words if I love the fourth book more than this one though. As someone who has the same type of anxiety that Paz has, I found myself relating so much to his character. And I loved Parker as the female main character, her no nonsense bullshit attitude was refreshing. It would have been very easy to write that type of attitude off as being ‘bitchy’ or ‘mean’. Instead, it was used as the reason why she was able to break through to Paz. He told her something and she immediately said ‘Nope, try again because I don’t believe that for a second’. Loved their development and their relationship!! There were some things I felt could have either been expanded upon or removed completely as they didn’t add anything really to the story, but the story was such a quick read and so enjoyable that it didn’t take away from the book at all.
