The Summer Book will always and forever be a 5 star read. Beautifully written, life affirming, full of wit and wisdom. It makes me want to go and live a hermit life on a tiny island.

This time I went for the audio version, and Julie Walters did a great job narrating it.

It was a perfect summer read and was so endearing and hilarious! If I was reading when I was too tired the way the book was trasnalted would get me a little and I would have to reread certain lines, but it was a lovely story
