"There's a place in the ocean, so deep, where not a single point of light penetrates through it. And for so long, l've been trapped there, unable to breathe. When I met you, you lifted me out of that darkness, and it was the first time I came up for air. You've become my oxygen, bella ladra, and I can no longer breathe without you.”

I wish this book could be wiped from my memory, just so I could read it for the first time again!!!
i’ll never understand the hate that this book gets.
it’s was so good. the build up was perfectly paced. It never felt like it was being dragged out. I couldn’t put it down. I wanted more of it.

PLOT TWIST around 74% into the book. - it sounds like it’s a bit late into the book for one, but the build up to it, and not knowing what’s to come, truly had me taken aback.

wtf did I just read. Basically they’re stranded on an island with a crazy guy. There are “ghosts”. Lots of blood. But also lots of smut. I started this in Mexico and I feel like I should have DNF-ed but I couldn’t stop reading it. I knew that if I didn’t finish, it would give me nightmares. This book is so fucked up.

I did not had high hopes for this book because I gave satans affair one 1 star and almost wanted to dnf but this book was the whole opposite ! I loved reading it and it was the perfect combination from dark romance and a thriller!

I’ve read a lot of dark romance books, but this one just didn’t hit for me. The relationship felt so forced and didn’t really like the pairing. Though the thrill of it was really nice (even though I guessed it half way through) and I’m the type of person who can’t DNF a book so I had to finish it.

A Truly Phenomenal Read

This has been my favorite book that I’ve read in forever! Seriously, it has it all!! Suspense, romance, spice, mystery, revenge, everything! It was written beautifully and masterfully crafted! I’ll be rereading this one for a long time to come.
