I really enjoyed this book but I felt like I was missing part of a book since it made such a left turn. For what it was, it was good but as a sequel it felt like a very weird turn.

Wow... talk about emotional rollercoaster. The 2nd book in The Ravenhood series doesn't mess around when it gives ALL the emotions.

This one picks up right where book 1 ended, where we meet The Frenchman. Shortly after meeting him, we find out exactly who he is. If you think Cecelia got her heart broken, just wait...

But after all of it, you find out exactly how much of a badass she has become.

Again, great writing, fantastic story, ALL the feels.

At least it doesn't end on too much of a cliffhanger.

5-star story, probably the entire series, since books 1 and 2 have been incredible.

I have a love hate relationship with this series. The writing is so good and the story absolutely compelling. The male characters? Wooo, I would sell a kidney for Dominic and Sean. Probably two of my absolute favorite book boys ever.
I absolutely did not expect what happened in the second-ish half of this book and I was so entirely devastated by it. I can literally never read this series ever again. Quite frankly, I was so heartbroken by what happened to my boys that I couldn’t even finish the series in it’s entirety. I got way too emotionally attached to them and wound up hating the female MC and the other love interest.

The last I’d say 30-40 pages just go get a whole box of tissues.

This book DESTROYED me. I both love and hated it. I’m glad I read it but also hate that I have. It ripped my heart out, tore it to pieces and then continued to stomp on it until the end of the book. But with all of that there is a HEA. The first book I fell in loved with all of these characters and the beginning of this was a bit bittersweet I fell even more for them in this book. I really enjoyed this book up until THAT POINT (iykyk) don’t want any spoilers. Once I got there this was very hard to read, not because it was bad but because I was shattered. This became a very depressing book and I cried from that point on literally until the last chapter where we get our HEA. There is so much packed into this book but it’s so well written. I’ve never cried so hard over a book before. This is one I’ll cry over just thinking about it years from now. It’s so worth it but it’s also an experience you can’t take back. Go in with a box or several of tissues because you will absolutely need them.

A hlavně už všichni věděli…

This series… I can’t even put into words what my heart feels when anyone mentions this series or any of the characters within the series. It’s filled with love and heartbreak. All the MMCs are great book bfs, but I did want the female lead to end up with someone other than who she does end up with. And for that reason alone, I can’t bring myself to re read the series. Even though I really want to! Kate Stewart kills me in all her books. But I love her anyways and she’s an auto buy author for me.
