I loved this book! I kept looking up the towns to learn more.  Something about Russian invasion that makes for a good story.  It wasn’t quite the ending I’d hoped for but a compelling narrative throughout.

I really enjoyed this book up until about 1/2 way through. It got a bit too fantastical there. You go to this remote village and find your missing daughter? Very plausible. 

I wish it would’ve focused more on Saba and Sandro after this whole debacle. It would’ve been interesting to see that side of it or to maybe be a bit more realistic with the police and things. 

Overall, it was a good listen (I do audio books)  I’d recommend it. The author does a very good job with his descriptions of everything.
