What do you mean that after 400 pages you don't give us a satisfying confession for Eleanor... I mean they do get together but it was resolved in less than a page. I wanted Edward to ask for forgiveness and beg for her love AHAHAH.
Loved loved loved the contrast beetween the sisters, very good female characters as usual.

Came with high expectations after reading Pride and Prejudice, but Sense and Sensibility unfortunately didn’t capture my interest as easily. Characterization and character development was so strong, though, and I loved the book for it.

I really like this book, but I don’t love Marianne and Eleanor that much. But that’s something I love about Jane Austen, she wasn’t afraid to make her characters have flaws and Marianne and Eleanor‘s flaws are that of which I wouldn’t make friends with them in that time or now for that matter. But I still love the book and that’s what makes her such a wonderful, amazing author. My favorites will always be pride and prejudice and Emma, but this one is wonderful as well.
