Overhyped

Like many books this was once again too hyped on bookstagram. It was okay, but it just didn’t hit the spot like it should have.

This book, and the rest of the series, was the one to bring me back into enjoying reading like I did when I was a kid. I absolutely devoured this book and the rest of the series.

If you’re looking to get back into reading for fun, look no further. This book has the banter, the fantasy world building magic, the TENSION of enemies to lovers, twists and turns with a strong FMC. I honestly did not think I would find another series that would hold such a special place in my heart, but Holly Black has created one that has me completely obsessed.

Jude is a FMC that is unlike any other. I love how fierce and unapologetic she is. Her and Cardan’s relationship unfolded in a way that was so cataclysmic, I was speechless when they finally collided.

Overall, this was obviously a 5 star read and so were the rest of the books in the series (which you usually can’t say for most series). I refuse to hear any bad things about this series and will continue to recommend it to anyone who will listen.

Guys, where has this book been all my life? I am utterly amazed. This story was so unique and so different in its own way. Holly Black really captured the fantasy world and its dark, lush self. Just looking at the title and the book cover, I was hooked! Reading reviews and seeing others enjoying its magnificence really got me pumped to dive into its pages.

Can I just..ugh! *Fangirling* I love this book so much! I need to read the next one right away!

Jude is such a great protagonist, she has her weaknesses, her strengths, and a great story to back her up. She is so determined and so stubborn, and that helps her! It helps her get through the pain and the crazy faerie world. I love her spunky attitude and how she is never willing to give up.

Now Cardan...oh...I don't know why I'm so attracted to boys who act like this. I think I have a soft spot for them...Anyway, Cardan is so sneaky! You little stinker! I hope I can get to know about him more in the second book. I'm not going to say much about him, since I don't want to give anything away!!

Again this book was an absolute joy to read and now I'm holding on to it till the due date to turn it in...I don't want to give it back!

The book was pretty good Overall but it's just that i hated all characters though I liked the character development of Jude it did sound like she is the villan of her own story.the plot was predictable.
Can't wait to read the sequel
