De disability rep stond me enorm tegen. Het zwabbert alle kanten op.
Ik heb de laatste hoofdstukken even gelezen en mijn vermoedens werden bevestigd...

ze hebben PIV seks, hij kan een stijve krijgen én klaarkomen. Ookal werd eerder brweerd dat hij dat niet kon na zijn ongeluk. En Katherine raakt zelfs zwanger. *zucht*

Maar waar ik vooral op afknapte is de scene dat de koets in het water reed en de hertog haar, zijn personeel én de paarden uit het water wist te halen. Terwijl hij chronische pijn en stijfheid heeft in zijn bene  en net een heel aantal uur heeft paardgereden dus zijn lichaam al bekaf is.
Vervolgens tilt hij de man op zijn schouders en loopt zo het bos in. Terwijl hij meestal met een stok moet lopen...
Dit was allemaal zo onrealistisch en gemakkelijk. Daarna even kort noemen dat hij pijn heeft en verder niks?! Nee sorry dan knap ik echt af. Heel jammer dit.

My first Stacy Reid. I tore through this book. The audiobook narrator was awful but I found the characters and story very compelling. Looking forward to the rest of the Sinful Wallflower club's stories.

A group of wallflowers decide they want to change their live by being more wicked and scandalous and calll themselves the Sinful Wallflowers club. Katherine is one of them and pretends to be engaged to the Duke of Thornton. Things become interesting when he finds out about it. This is a beauty and the beast retelling which is done in a good way. I enjoyed this fun and entertaining story. Katherine and the duke have opposite characters, yet there is a lot of chemistry between them. I'll certaintly read more books by this author.
