like most of sally rooney's short stories i just want more.
it's hard to say much about this since it is only 30 pages. i can't stop thinking about this.
the relationship she decided to deep dive into in this story is something so simple, so common yet has so many complexities that i just cannot stop thinking about it.
mutual friends / almost strangers / friendly acquaintances can be found in everyone's life but i think seeing in story form really made me think about what relationships like that entail. otherwise, i could very well just be reading into this but, with lockdown i still haven't got to reading BWWAY so im starved of sally rooney.
