Love and Other Puzzles by Kimberley Allsopp
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
———
Rory, in her 20’s creating tv magazine puzzles for a living. She has always lived a predictable mundane life, when she suddenly feels everything in her life is wrong from her career to her relationship and life needs a shake up. She starts using the clues from the NY times crossword to be spontaneous and where they lead her is a whirlwind journey.

Ah, I loved this one. It was so heartwarming watching Rory’s journey of self-discovery. Seeing the shift in her characters perspective and with such a fun witty plot idea using the crosswords. At first everything about Rory makes you want to scream but you soon learn to love her quirks and understand why she is the way she is. It was the perfect feel good book and once I started I really couldn’t put it down, there were surprisingly a few moments where I actually laughed out loud and if that’s not the sign of a good book I don’t know what is.

3.5,
a nice little juant. i didnt find it too predictable but also not the most memorbale. the boyfriend being such an unlikable character and rorys spinelessness in most spects of her life quite frustrating. not the most relatable.
