I felt like the plot was lacking and it was strictly character development. I also didn’t think the grammar and writing style was the best. I did enjoy the love story though!

5 FREAKING STARS AND NOTHING LESS. omds i've been reading good books so far. been a good month for me but enough about that and lemme start yapping about this book. OH MY FREAKING DAY LIGHTS, ELENA ABSOLUTELY SERVED THIS SHIT UP AND I ATEEE IT. how they started, how they ended, how they were. omds idek what to say. I lowkey skipped the spice because im not a spice gurl but before it got spicier, i read some parts. *spoiler* they were about to go at it and she was feeling a bit insecure right. tell me why this man reassured her and told her "we are in this together" TOGETHER. i'd never stop talking about this book but i will give you that. If u haven't read, what are u doing?
This was a lot of fun and really cute!! 4 stars only because his blue eyes were talked about every other page and it was very annoying

I was so apprehensive going into this one! I had heard all the hate and was worried this would land on the DNF pile. But I seemed to really enjoy The Spanish Love Deception. Lina was a bit annoying at times with her inner monologue, but despite this I found her quirky and lighthearted. Aaron is a dreamboat and is definitely one of the reasons my standards are so high. The storyline was dynamic and satisfying and the chemistry between the two was riveting. I did not care for their miscommunication. Most of the book was the characters (mostly Lina) beating around the bush and not being upfront with their feelings. A lot could have been avoided if she acted like the adult she is and spoke to Aaron about the situation. But overall if you are looking for a lighthearted romance, with banter and carefree moments I definitely recommend this one.
