I'm getting really sick of people hating Buffy for saving the freaking world.

Finally, Buffy comes to terms with destroying the Seed! And it only took 4 volumes to get there. Cause it wasn't enough that Willow is magic-less, or that demons are hunting her down for student loan payments, or that vampires are now zompires, no, she could always just shrug those off, because the consequences never really affected her. But now, oh now! Now it's hitting home. I guess it's good that she's consistent, because I think she was starting to bother everyone by season 6 anyway, not really having to deal with the fallout of her literally world-changing decisions, and that's what the last three volumes felt like, too. "So what, I destroyed the Seed, we just have to deal with the fallout, I'm always the one to make these decisions so don't bother me with how it's affecting you." Honestly, it's annoying. I'm glad that it looks like she might be willing to work toward fixing the world, though.

I feel a instant moment of pain when I see Illyria, so her presence is never welcome, but the beauty of Buffy was not ever in it being easy or painless to follow. This are very much issues building up to the finish of the season, so there's no important revelation to be had here.
