I think I did myself and this book a disservice by not having read all the other books in the Walsh family saga… This one focuses a lot on relationships and characters explored in previous books and due to my lack of attachement to the characters I just couldn’t get quite into it.
Wasn’t the biggest fan of the time jumps and I found it quite hard to follow if this was present past or nearer past… I’m also not a fan of the direction the book took because although yes this can happen in real life I don’t really like the proximity of all parties involved so it didn’t quite sit right with me. No there’s no cheating but it feels like it to me and I couldn’t get on board with the relationship.
Overall, I think that of you’re a fan of the series definitely read it, but if you want to read it as a standalone I wouldn’t recommend.

Took a while to get into, but I enjoyed it overall. I often got a bit confused when it came to the flash back memories, but listening on audiobook may be a contributing factor on that, and I did eventually get more used to/aware of them

I enjoyed reliving the Walsh family again but the story just kept going round and round and took too long to get to the point.
