I absolutely loved this book, I felt sad when it was finished. Reading about the Walsh family again felt like putting on a pair of my favourite pyjamas, comforting & familiar. I really enjoyed the cast of characters and it has been interesting to see what happens to Anna after Is There Anybody Out There.
Highly recommended to anyone who loves Marian Keyes & The Walsh Family!

I listened the the audio book
I found it very long & repetitive in places
To be honest I was disappointed
I found that “Mammy Walsh’s portrayal was ridiculous with her constant going on about Luke’s crotch & tight jeans - the whole family heading to Galway for Anna who was a grown woman was also ridiculous
There were so many character family / friends etc that it was overly complicated to keep track & they didn’t add to the story
The nicknames - Joey the Go Boy
Feathery stroker
Etc were amusing at first mention but got tedious
The Anna / Jackie back story was drip fed and dragged out as was the whole Joey / Anna story line
I have always enjoyed Marion’s book as I think she describes people / situations very weak but this one was a miss.
I also think her stand alone novels like Grown Ups are better than trying to revisit the Walsh’s who have had their time
