this was so entertaining. the writing itself was very straightforward and fun. i thought the ending could've been slightly shorter - this book felt more like 3 because SO much happens. there was a strange fixation on the anna's (FMC) age which started to annoy me, given that she wasn't insecure about it. everyone's ages came up so many times. i also really liked the best friend arc, it made me wish i still had mine in my life. overall it's a very cute story about finding yourself again in your middle age and (re)connecting with the people around you.

Started this thinking it was a standalone, then halfway through realized—wait, it’s the WALSH SISTERS! 😭💫

It’s years later, they’ve all grown up, and I was so happy to see them again. This book made me laugh, reflect, and fall in love with Marian Keyes all over again.


I read Watermelon and the other Walsh books years ago, and it just felt so good to be back. I honestly just love Marian Keyes. 💕📚

I've always enjoyed the Walsh family books but this one dragged a little for me - I enjoyed Keyes writing as always but this was a really slow burn for the most part.

This return to the Walsh family drama and chaos was just what I needed this week, I not only love this latest book from Marian Keyes but I want to now go back and revisit the previous Walsh titles to enjoy all over again.
Funny, sexy, feisty and pure joy, this is something to bring so much comfort and hope, with a focus on friendship, grief, and all of our fears and flaws. I just loved it.
