So I NEVER read these kind of books. Ever. But this summer I was in need of some fluff. Something that I could just lay down for 3 hours and read and take my mind off of everything. Something that would make me all happy and bouncy and giggly inside, that I didn't really have to think about. This book didn't disappoint.

I loved how the main characters, got to know each other and fell in love afterwards DESPITE one being a famous actor, rather that falling in love BECAUSE one is a famous actor and then getting to know each other. That is portrayed a lot more realistically. It seems plausible almost in this way. I also really enjoyed the writing a lot more than I would have expected, it was actually really good quality. Of course, I haven't read anything else by this author so I don't have anything to base it off of. It was surprisingly good.

I only had a few complaints. One is that the ending didn't end with a punch, it just kind of.. oh I don't know... petered off... slowly dissolved. It just didn't give me the ending I would've liked. Also, when Ellie finds out about Grahams true life, it wasn't just the huge revelation I would've liked to see. I don't know if this was true for anyone else but it felt like everything was leading up to a big surprise but it didn't come.

Anyways overall this was a good 3-3.5 star book, possibly more, except this isn't really my favorite genre. I would however recommend it to YA readers, romance readers etc, because it was pretty good! I definitely provided me with a good 3 hours of entertainment and a smile on my face.

I actually really enjoyed this novel. There really isn't much to it other than what the blurb tells you - it's a novel about two people who start getting to know each other by chance, and who fall in love. Yes there are some minor upsets, but it's just that - minor.

Reading 'This is What Happy Looks Like' was like watching a romantic-comedy. Nothing really harmful or bad happens and two people fall in love against all possibility. It was just really nice to read. Nothing bad happened, no-one had any life-crippling issues to deal with - it was all just nice. And I liked it! Will definitely be recommending this one.

I liked this book, but I didn't love it. I loved the characters and plot but it seemed really stretched out to me.

Meh. La historia me ha dejado un poco fría. No le veo el propósito a la historia. Y menos mal que no es pastelosa, porque si no sería infumable.

What to say, what to say. At some points I did get a tad bit bored, but overall this book was cute. I wish that we'd gotten to see what happens to them a bit later, but overall, the ending was good (which is a big shock to me because I usually think the endings of books need to be different).

This was actually a lot better than I thought it was going to be. It was cute and sweet and fun and I liked the idea of a mistaken email address leading to so much.

Ellie can't call herself a Mainer if she hasn't heard of a whoopie pie!
